OCT Testing
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive imaging test that uses light waves to take cross-section pictures of your retina. The optometrists at Granata Eyecare are equipped with state of the art equipment, and use this technology in diagnosing and managing diseases such as Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma. Myopia Clinic
Myopia, or short-sightedness, is a condition where far away objects appear blurry. The condition is significantly on the rise around the world and it particularly affects over 95% of young adults in Asia. Myopia is a complex condition influenced by genetics of the individual as well as environmental and lifestyle factors. Delaying the onset, and minimising the progression, of myopia will help to minimise the risks of eye disease associated with higher levels of myopia.
At our new Myopia Clinic, we provide a service to identify people who are at high risk of development or progression of myopia and offer individualised testing and latest evidence-based treatments to slow down or halt the progression of myopia. Management is tailored to each patient and includes a range of options such as atropine eye drops, orthokeratology, multifocal contact lenses and multifocal glasses.

Assessing Children’s vision goes beyond ensuring they can see 20/20 or 6/6.
